Sean Chen

Sean Chen is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Accounting and Finance within the Luter School of Business at Christopher Newport University. His research focuses on Empirical Corporate Finance, Financial Institutions, and Corporate Innovation.

His recent work examines supply chain dynamics, executive debt incentives, and cash management impacts on firm value, with four 2024 publications in journals like Pacific-Basin Finance Journal and Corporate Ownership and Control. He teaches courses in Corporate Finance, Portfolio Management, Derivatives and Risk Management, and Data Management & Analytics.
