Dr. Sean Butcher is a Lecturer in Criminal Justice at the University of Leeds' School of Law (Faculty of Social Sciences). He serves as Director of Undergraduate Admissions for the School of Law. His expertise spans police studies, law and order politicisation, and media representations of justice. He holds a PhD in Law from the University of Leeds and has held teaching roles since 2011. Professional memberships include the British Society of Criminology and Higher Education Academy.
