Sean Bellairs is a Senior Lecturer in Plant Science at Charles Darwin University's College of Engineering, IT and Environment. His work focuses on ecological restoration, seed biology, and the commercialization of native Australian plants, particularly wild rice. He has conducted extensive research on mine site rehabilitation, ecosystem development, and the integration of First Nations' cultural values in environmental projects.
Dr. Bellairs holds a PhD in Ecological Restoration and has supervised nine postgraduate students. He has been awarded by the Extractive Industry Association of the NT for his contributions.
