Scott Witherow

Scott Witherow serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at The University of Tampa, specializing in biochemical education and cellular signaling research.

Research Focus

His scholarly work centers on biochemical pedagogy innovation and the molecular mechanisms of G protein signaling regulation. He extends biochemical methodologies to diverse applications, notably through his widely adopted textbook Molecular Biology Techniques: A Classroom Laboratory Manual (Fourth Edition) and pedagogical publications in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Education. These resources support courses taught at UT and globally implemented curricula.
