Scott Tennant is a Teaching Professor and Chair of Classical Guitar at the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music. A Grammy-winning classical guitarist, he is a founding member of the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet (LAGQ) and renowned for his expertise in Spanish music, particularly the works of Joaquín Rodrigo. Tennant studied at USC (1980-1986) under Pepe Romero and James Smith, participating in USC Segovia Masterclasses in 1981 and 1986.
