Scott Taylor is an Assistant Teaching Professor and Coordinator of Elementary French at the University of Missouri's College of Arts and Science. His research spans French theatre and performance studies, with specializations in theatre semiotics and foreign language pedagogy.

- Digital media in language education
- Community-based theatre production
- Performance as ethnographic method
Publications examine directing methodologies, language pedagogy innovations, and include translations of French classics. Recent work explores Molière adaptations and semiotic approaches to Québécois theatre.
