Scott Rosenberg

Scott Rosenberg is a Professor of History at Wittenberg University, specializing in African History and African-American history. He serves as the Director of the Peace Corps Prep Program and holds the H.O. Hirt Endowed Professor of History title. His work focuses on Sub-Saharan Africa, particularly Lesotho, and he has led over 400 students on service-learning trips to Lesotho since 2003.

Rosenberg’s research examines colonial legacies, racial history, and service-learning pedagogy. He has written extensively on Lesotho, including a book manuscript on Moshoeshoe’s cultural nationalism and a historical dictionary.
