Scott Page

Scott Page is the Leonid Hurwicz Collegiate Professor of Complex Systems, Political Science, and Economics at the University of Michigan, and serves as Associate Director of the Center for the Study of Complex Systems. He is also an External Faculty Member at the Santa Fe Institute and a Senior Research Scientist at the Institute for Social Research. His research focuses on complex systems, diversity dynamics, collective intelligence, and the interplay between institutions and cultural behavior. Page holds a PhD in Managerial Economics from Northwestern University and a BA in Mathematics from the University of Michigan.

Page directs major interdisciplinary initiatives including the IDEAS NSF IGERT grant and Project SLUCE, exploring institutional diversity and collective problem-solving.
