Scott Lewis

Scott Lewis is an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University's College of Science and Technology in Manassas, Virginia. Transitioning from a 14-year career in the cybersecurity and software industry, where he served as a developer, DBA, architect, and cybersecurity chief engineer, he joined academia in 2018 as an Adjunct and became full-time in 2021. Holding certifications in Oracle, PMP, ITIL, and CISSP, his teaching focuses on preparing students for industry demands through hands-on skills and critical thinking.

His research interests align with practical applications in cybersecurity and software development, emphasizing real-world problem-solving and technical proficiency.
