Scott Johnson is a full-time Lecturer in Vocal Studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS), where he teaches vocal pedagogy, performance, and serves as a principal study tutor. Previously, he worked as a tutor at the Conservatoire du Kremlin-Bicêtre (Paris) and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London). He holds a bachelor’s degree from GSMD (1997), a PGCE, and an MA (Distinction) from London University’s Institute of Education.
His research focuses on contemporary and historical approaches to vocal performance pedagogy, with a particular interest in integrating technology to enhance singer training.
