Scarlet Robertson is a PhD Researcher at the School of Law within the University of Stirling. She joined in 2021 and teaches modules across law and social-sciences faculties. Prior to Stirling, she worked in non-profit and third-sector legal/research roles in Scotland and overseas, including a research internship with the Scottish Government Justice Analytical Service.
- Education: LLB in Scots Law (University of Edinburgh, 2017), LLM in International Criminal Justice and Human Rights (University of Dundee, 2018), PhD in Criminology (University of Stirling).
Her research spans international criminal law, human rights, global governance, and security, with recent focus on human trafficking, policing, and civil liability for criminal wrongs. She is affiliated with the Crime & Justice Research Group and holds a Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy, emphasizing her commitment to education access and pedagogical research.
