About
Dr. Saulius Nargelas is an Associate Professor and Senior Researcher at the Institute of Photonics and Nanotechnology (IPN) at Vilnius University. His research focuses on optical methods for studying recombination and transport of non-equilibrium charge carriers in solids, with expertise in the optical, photoelectric, and structural properties of semiconductors, scintillators, and perovskites. He has led projects such as 'Origins and pathways of non-radiative recombination in nonpolar and semipolar InGaN structures' (2017-2020) and contributed to advancements in transient optical absorption techniques. His work has been recognized with awards from the Lithuania Science Academy and Vilnius University Alumni.
