Dr. Satish Puri is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Missouri University of Science and Technology. He also serves as the Associate Chair of Research and directs the High Performance Computing Lab. His research focuses on Parallel and Distributed Computing, Spatial Big Data, and High Performance Computing for Geospatial Analytics. Current interests include analytics in cloud computing environments, nearest neighbor similarity search for shapes, and heterogeneous computing with processing-in-memory paradigms.
