Satish Jayachandran is a Professor of Marketing and the James F. Kane Professor of Business at the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. He currently serves as the Associate Dean of Graduate Programs and previously chaired the Department of Marketing.

Jayachandran’s research focuses on marketing strategy, corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainability, brand licensing, and customer relationship management (CRM). Recent publications highlight trends in product recall strategies, sustainability reputation, and brand licensing dynamics. Notable awards include the Harold H. Maynard Award (2001), Tamer Cavusgil Award (2009), and recognition as a Marketing Science Institute Young Scholar (2003). He has taught graduate courses internationally and received the Alfred G. Smith Award for Outstanding Teaching (2005).
