Sascha Zertani

Sascha Zertani is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Geosciences, University of Oslo, affiliated with the NJORD Centre for Studies of the Physics of the Earth. She holds a PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) in Geological Sciences from Freie Universität Berlin (2020), preceded by M.Sc. (2015) and B.Sc. (2013) degrees in the same field.

Her work combines petrophysical modeling with field studies in Western Norway to understand how deep crustal processes affect geophysical observables. Current projects include CONTINENT - Conditions for earthquake nucleation in the lower crust.
