Sarika Bose

Sarika Bose serves as a Lecturer in the Department of English Language and Literatures within the Faculty of Arts at the University of British Columbia. She teaches ENGL 100 courses focusing on literary studies and academic writing, fulfilling the first-year component of the Faculty of Arts Writing and Research Requirement.

She examines how protagonists navigate self-discovery through encounters with ghosts, monsters, and alternate versions of themselves.

Her pedagogical approach emphasizes active learning through presentations, team work, and flipped classroom exercises. She trains students in critical literary analysis, research methods, and academic writing through short essays and other assignments.
