Dr. Sarah Sebo is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Chicago, where she directs the Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) Lab. She earned her Ph.D. from Yale University in 2020.
Her research transforms human-robot interactions from transactional exchanges to socially engaging experiences. Current projects investigate how robots can foster meaningful connections between people, measure human-robot rapport, and develop end-user programming interfaces for robots.
