Dr. Sarah Sass serves as Interim Chair and Professor of Psychology in the Department of Psychology & Counseling at the University of Texas at Tyler. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and a B.A. from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.
Her research focuses on anxiety and depression treatment/prevention, emphasizing rural populations and innovative care delivery methods. She employs psychophysiological techniques and collaborates with faculty across psychology, counseling, education, and engineering. Teaching spans graduate and undergraduate psychology courses.
