Sarah Rodigari is a Lecturer in Contemporary Art, Sculpture and Spatial Practice at the School of Art & Design, ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences. Her practice-led research explores the social and political potential of art through relational, collaborative, and site-responsive projects.
Education:
- PhD from University of Wollongong (UOW)
- BA(Honors) from University of New South Wales (UNSW)
Her work employs durational performance, installation, film, and dialogical methodologies to examine how social discourse shapes identity. Notable projects have engaged institutions like the Sydney Opera House, Biennale of Sydney, and international art venues. As part of the Field Theory collective, she received the 2021 Melbourne Prize for Urban Sculpture and Civic Choice Award.
She is registered to supervise research students and actively collaborates with global art organizations including the Live Art Development Agency (London) and The Poetry Project (NYC).
