Sarah Rees

Dr. Sarah Rees is an Associate Professor in the School of Medicine at Swansea University. She serves as the curriculum lead for the Graduate Entry Medicine (GEM) program and student admissions lead for GEM and Medical Associate Programs. Her research focuses on musculoskeletal biology, particularly cell matrix interactions in health and disease, with emphasis on ligament and tendon metabolism. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and actively contributes to medical education through curriculum development and student selection strategies. Dr. Rees also serves as an external examiner for the GEM course at Birmingham Medical School.
