Sarah Lee

Sarah Lee serves as Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior and Management at Dominican University of California's Barowsky School of Business, holding Full Time Faculty status and the La Vida Dominican Scholarly Works Fellowship.

Her academic foundation includes dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Music from UC Berkeley, followed by a PhD in Organizations & Management from Emory University.

Dr. Lee's research centers on diversity, equity and inclusion mechanisms in workplace advancement, specifically examining how economic threats exacerbate racial disparities and how stereotypes distort leadership qualification assessments. Her social psychology approach reveals systemic biases in hiring/promotion with actionable organizational implications.

She actively shapes institutional policy through the Diversity Action Group's inclusive hiring task force and serves on the Institute of Leadership Studies board.

Dr. Lee mentors students across undergraduate, adult degree completion, and MBA programs in research projects and academic advising, teaching organizational behavior, leadership, change management, and strategic management courses.
