Dr. Sarah L Jones is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of History (Historical Studies) at the University of Bristol. Her research focuses on social and cultural histories of gender and sexuality in modern Britain and America, with particular emphasis on sexual science, popular print culture, and transatlantic 'free love' movements.
Her recent work examines the intersection of science, sexuality, and print culture, including the history of mass-produced sex advice literature. She is actively engaged in pedagogical research through her role as a BILT Associate, investigating innovative teaching methods to enhance student transitions to university life.
