Sarah Kate Walston

Sarah Kate Walston is an Adjunct Instructor of Voice in the Department of Music at Virginia Commonwealth University and Randolph Macon College. She maintains an active performance career spanning opera, musical theatre, and symphonic collaborations while holding multiple teaching positions. Her professional background includes extensive stage experience and educational leadership roles.

Mrs. Walston holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Lee University and both a Master of Music degree and Graduate Performance Diploma from The Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University.

Her artistic and academic focus centers on vocal performance techniques across classical and contemporary genres, with specialized interests in operatic repertoire, musical theatre production, and early childhood music education through her work with Wolf Trap Early Learning Center.
