Sarah Hamylton

Assoc. Professor Sarah Hamylton holds a position at the University of Wollongong's School of Earth, Atmospheric and Life Sciences (SEALS). Her research focuses on coastal geomorphology, coral reef ecology, and mangrove ecosystems, integrating spatial analysis with art-science collaboration. She leads interdisciplinary projects addressing climate change impacts on coastal environments and promotes gender equity in fieldwork practices. Her work combines remote sensing, GIS modeling, and field-based studies to assess reef island dynamics and sediment transport processes.
