Sarah Hamill is a Professor of Modern and Contemporary Art and the Noble Foundation Chair in Art and Cultural History at Sarah Lawrence College since 2017. She specializes in modern and contemporary art history, focusing on sculptural aesthetics, postwar American sculpture, and contemporary photography. Her research explores intersections of feminist politics and media in the 1970s through the work of Mary Miss, and she co-curated the Care and Climate Justice exhibition series.
