Dr. Sarah E. Cprek is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Management and Policy and Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Affairs at the University of Kentucky’s College of Public Health. She holds a PhD (2021) and MPH (2014) from the University of Kentucky. Her research spans maternal/child health (focusing on ACEs and parenting practices) and teaching/learning science (student engagement and curriculum design). She has led/co-led 9 grants including collaborations with Great Kids, Inc. and Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
Dr. Cprek has won major teaching awards including the 2025 ASPPH Early Career Teaching Excellence Award and 2022 UK Outstanding Faculty Teaching Award. She serves on university-wide education councils and national groups like ASPPH Undergraduate Leadership Group. Her work has generated 15+ peer-reviewed articles and national presentations.
