About
Professor Sarah Croke is a theoretical physicist at the University of Glasgow, affiliated with the Quantum Theory Group. She joined the university in September 2013 after spending nearly 6 years at the Perimeter Institute in Waterloo, Ontario, initially as a postdoctoral fellow and later as a PSI fellow. Her research sits at the intersection of mathematics, computer science, and theoretical/experimental physics, focusing on quantum information and quantum foundations.
Her recent publications highlight advancements in quantum measurement, interferometry, and entanglement concentration. Key themes include indefinite causal order analysis, gravitational-wave detection algorithms, multipartite quantum systems, and PT-symmetric Hamiltonians. She also explores applications in quantum metrology and non-Hermitian operators.
