Sarah Coyle

Sarah Coyle is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Social Care at Anglia Ruskin University, based in the School of Midwifery and Community Health in Chelmsford, with expertise spanning Nursing and Midwifery.

Her academic journey began with a BSc (Hons) Midwifery from Anglia Ruskin University in 2013, and she is currently advancing her credentials through an MSc in Advanced Midwifery Practice.

Research centers on Vaginal Birth after Caesarean (VBAC), complex pregnancy, and the medicalisation of childbirth, driven by a commitment to evidence-based care that empowers women and families. She champions innovative approaches to elevate maternal and neonatal outcomes, positioning informed choice as foundational to midwifery practice.

Professional recognition includes membership in the Royal College of Midwives.
