Sarah C. Klain is Assistant Professor in Environment & Society at Utah State University, specializing in ecological economics and conservation science. Her research examines social and cultural dimensions of ecosystem services, community engagement in renewable energy projects, and integration of Indigenous knowledge with Western science for biodiversity conservation.
Current projects focus on ecologically regenerative renewable energy development and collaborative approaches to rewilding that weave indigenous, local, and scientific knowledge systems. She previously completed her MSc and PhD at the University of British Columbia's Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability.
