Sara Zimmer

Sara Zimmer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Minnesota Medical School, Twin Cities Campus. Her research focuses on molecular parasitology, particularly the RNA stability and degradation mechanisms in trypanosomes, which cause Neglected Tropical Diseases under the World Health Organization's classification.
