Sara Saltzman

Sara Saltzman serves as an Assistant Professor of Printmaking within the School of Art+Design at Purchase College, State University of New York.

Her academic background includes a BA from the New School for Social Research, a BFA from Parsons the New School for Design, and an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, establishing her foundation in contemporary art practices.

Her research focuses on Printmaking techniques spanning traditional and experimental methodologies within Visual Arts, emphasizing material innovation and conceptual development in Fine Arts education. This work directly informs her pedagogical approach in studio instruction and curriculum design.

As a core faculty member, she actively shapes the Printmaking program's direction through course development and student mentorship within Purchase College's visual arts community.
