Horowitz is Professor of Humanities and Jewish Studies at York University's Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies, with joint appointments in the Departments of Humanities and Languages, Literatures & Linguistics. A leading scholar in Holocaust literature and Jewish cultural studies, her research examines narrative representations of trauma across comparative literary traditions.
