About
Sara Linse is a LINXS Fellow and active member of the Integrative Structural Biology Working Group, specializing in amyloid research within LINXS—a center dedicated to advancing neutron and X-ray science for interdisciplinary scientific domains.
Her research focuses on:
- Structural mechanisms of protein misfolding
- Amyloid formation in neurodegenerative diseases
- Biophysical characterization of aggregation pathways
- Integration of structural biology techniques for complex biomolecular systems
As part of LINXS's legacy Integrative Structural Biology theme, Dr. Linse contributed to collaborative projects bridging experimental and computational approaches. Though this theme has transitioned to newer initiatives, her work remains foundational to understanding protein aggregation phenomena in biomedical contexts.
