Sara Ek is a Full Professor at the Department of Immunotechnology, Lund University, and a key researcher in the Faculty of Engineering. She leads projects focused on improving cancer diagnosis and treatment through molecular profiling, particularly for lymphoma patients.

Her research integrates affinity proteomics, transcriptional profiling, and spatial omics to address tumor heterogeneity and immune microenvironment interactions. She co-founded Immunovia (2007) and holds a PhD in Immunotechnology (2004).
