Sara Diaco

Sara Diaco is a part-time Lecturer at the University of Tübingen, Department of Philosophy, specializing in Ancient Philosophy, Ethics, and the historical development of human society. She holds a PhD in Classics from the University of Cambridge (2012–2016) and has held roles including Post-doctoral Researcher (2015–2017) funded by the Fritz Thyssen Foundation.

Her research focuses on intersections between Ancient Philosophy (Plato, Lucretius) and Enlightenment ethics, particularly Kant and Baumgarten. She is currently working on a critical edition of Vigilantius’ Metaphysik der Sitten.

Sara Diaco has organized academic conferences and conducted a six-month research stay at the University of St Andrews (2016). She maintains an active role in philosophical seminars, with consultation hours by appointment via email (sara.diaco@uni-tuebingen.de).
