Sanna Pohlmann-Rother

Prof. Dr. Sanna Pohlmann-Rother is a Full Professor and Chair of Primary School Pedagogy and Primary School Didactics at the University of Würzburg. She holds positions in the Faculty of Human Sciences and leads her department within the Institute of Education. Her academic journey includes roles as a researcher at the University of Bamberg and professor at Ludwigsburg University of Education. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Bamberg (2009) and habilitation in 2017.

Her research focuses on primary education transitions, multilingualism, digital pedagogy, and inclusive education. Key areas include teacher professional development, educational technology integration, and policy analysis.
