Sangeeta Parashar

Dr. Sangeeta Parashar is an Associate Professor of Sociology at Montclair State University's College of Humanities and Social Sciences. Her research focuses on social demography, health inequities (maternal/child health, health-seeking behavior), aging, and gender studies. She holds degrees from the University of Delhi, Iowa State University, and the University of Maryland, College Park.
