Sandy Tarrant

Sandy Tarrant is a Clinical Professor and Director of the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Clinic at Boston College Law School. She is also the Faculty Director of the Program on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (PIE). Her roles include teaching courses such as Nonprofit Organizations and Entrepreneurship & Innovation Clinic, and she has served as Director of the BC Law Community Enterprise Clinic in 2009 and 2016.

Research & Practice: Tarrant specializes in nonprofit law, corporate governance, and supporting startups through legal clinics. She has extensive experience in representing tax-exempt organizations and advising on nonprofit compliance. Her work emphasizes experiential learning and pro bono legal services, including her prior roles at Casner & Edwards and Mintz Levin.

Labs/Teams: Leads the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Clinic and the PIE program, providing legal aid to entrepreneurs and startups in the Greater Boston area.
