Sandy Alexandre is an Associate Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), specializing in African American literature and cultural studies. Her research examines intersections of racial violence, material culture, and visual representation in works spanning from the late 19th century to present-day Black America. She teaches courses such as Introduction to Drama and Studies in Fiction: Toni Morrison.
