Sandra Welling

Sandra Welling is an Associate Dean and Founding Director of Nursing Education, as well as a Professor of Nursing at the College of Health Professions, Humboldt State University (HSU). She holds a R.N. from Methodist College of Nursing (1996), B.S.N. from the University of Detroit Mercy (1997), MSN from Regis University (2007), and a Ph.D. from New Mexico State University (2014). Her expertise centers on nursing education, healthcare leadership, and clinical nursing practices. As a leader in nursing education, she has developed curricula and programs to prepare nurses for advanced roles in healthcare systems.
