Sandra Pesoli is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of World Languages and Cultures at Meredith College since Fall 2014. She specializes in teaching Italian language courses, including a unique interdisciplinary course she created: Italian Cuisine and Culture (WLC 285). Her research interests span sociolinguistics, film studies, and cultural connections between language and disciplines like art, music, and history. She actively collaborates with colleagues across departments, exemplified by her 2020 interdisciplinary course Defining Home with Art Professor Dr. Shannon Johnstone.
Education: M.A. and M.Ed. in Italian and Foreign Languages from The Ohio State University; Laurea in Lingue e Letterature Straniere from Università di Roma III.
