Sandra Noble

Sandra Noble is an Assistant Professor of Counseling at George Fox University. A Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, she practices at Empower Counseling outpatient clinic.

Her clinical and research expertise includes:

• Eating disorder treatment and recovery
• Creative arts therapies
• Trauma and crisis interventions
• Integration of psychology and theology
• Social psychology applications

Recent publications focus on embodiment issues in eating disorder recovery, creative arts interventions for shame transformation, and gender-specific approaches for males with eating disorders. Her work includes development of the Creative Arts Personal Growth Group (CAPG) model and therapeutic manuals for group facilitation. She has lectured internationally on eating disorder treatment and social psychology.
