Sandra H. Park

Sandra H. Park is an Assistant Professor of East Asian Studies at the University of Arizona, part of the College of Humanities. Her research focuses on modern Korea, US imperial influences in East Asia, and the intersection of religion with Cold War politics. She holds a PhD, MA, and BA in History from the University of Chicago, and previously served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at George Washington University's Institute for Korean Studies.

She contributes web essays on topics like the Taejon Massacre and Cold War citizenship. Committed to inclusive teaching, she mentors marginalized students and emphasizes accessibility.
