Sandra Diederich

Dr. Sandra Diederich is a Laboratory Head at the Friedrich Loeffler Institute's Institute of Novel and Emerging Infectious Diseases (INNT) in Greifswald, Germany. She leads research activities focused on high-consequence viral pathogens, particularly henipaviruses and filoviruses.

Her research interests span:

• Viral disease prevention through innovative vaccine platforms
• Strengthening global health security via international collaborations
• Zoonotic disease preparedness and diagnostics
• Multidisciplinary approaches to epidemic/pandemic response
