Sander De Groote

Dr. Sander De Groote is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Accounting, Audit and Tax, University of New South Wales. He holds a PhD in Business Economics (Accounting) from KU Leuven, along with a MSc and BSc in Business Economics from the same institution.

Research Focus:

• Corporate governance, particularly director behavior and its impact on firm information environments.
• Insider trading as a metric for director diligence and ethics.
• Audit committee dynamics and financial reporting quality.
• Behavioral finance and equity incentives in oversight roles.
