Sandeep Gupta

Sandeep Gupta is a Professor at the Viterbi School of Engineering, University of Southern California, where he has been a member of the academic community for over three decades. Currently serving as Vice Provost for Academic and Faculty Affairs, he oversees initiatives related to faculty development, academic programs, and campus support systems.

He has held multiple leadership roles within USC, including Department Chair and Director of the W.V.T. Rusch Undergraduate Engineering Program. His contributions to faculty governance include serving on the Academic Senate executive board and acting as Senate President during 2011–2012. Gupta played a pivotal role in transitioning USC to the Brightspace learning management system, collaborating with faculty and staff to ensure its successful implementation.
