Dr. Sana Rahim is Senior Lecturer in Critical Security at Sheffield Hallam University's Institute of Law and Justice. Her research examines nuclear weapon communities, postcolonial security frameworks, and critical criminology approaches to global threats.
Rahim authored the monograph Living with Orientalism: Pakistan's Nuclear Community, exclusion and Othering (Oxford University Press, 2024) and contributes to studies on underrepresented academics' experiences. She leads Equality, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives and holds Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.
