Jun.-Prof. Dr. Samuel Tomczyk is Junior Professor for Digital Health and Prevention at the University of Greifswald. His research develops and evaluates technology-mediated interventions for health promotion, with particular focus on adolescent mental health, positive psychology applications across the lifespan, and implementation science for digital prevention programs.
Current projects examine:
- Social media-based life skills education for youth (Leduin project)
- App-delivered prevention for depression and anxiety (DepriBuddy)
- Digital tools for crisis response coordination
- Positive psychology interventions in higher education
Methodologically, Dr. Tomczyk employs mixed-methods approaches to understand behavioral determinants and implementation barriers for digital health technologies.
