Prof. Samuel P. Baumgartner holds the Chair of Civil Procedure Law, Comparative Civil Procedure Law, Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law, Private Law, and Mediation at the University of Zurich's Faculty of Law. He serves as President of the Institute for Civil Procedure, an association promoting procedural law education and practice.
