Samuel M. Fischer

Samuel M. Fischer is a Research Fellow at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) in the Department of Ecological Modelling, where he has been conducting postdoctoral research since 2023. He holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Systems Science from Osnabrück University.

His research integrates mathematical modeling, algorithm design, and statistics to address ecological challenges. Primary interests include:
